At Eagles Nest, sustainability is woven into the way we care for our 75-acre estate and the Bay of Islands environment that surrounds us. Our Qualmark Gold rating reflects our commitment to a style of luxury that treads lightly, from the planting of 20,000 native trees to the ongoing removal of invasive species and restoration of native bush. Across the property, 40 beehives produce the honey guests enjoy in each villa, while local produce, from wine and cheese to freshly baked goods, is chosen wherever possible. We are proud to partner with ecostore for our personal care products, maintain a chemical spray-free property, and operate with water independence, using water collected from roof catchment, bore, dams and streams.
